  1. They would still qualify for Medicare. I am not sure about notifying the department.
  2. Yes. A secondary applicant has their own visa. Divorce does not effect their ability to gain PR.
  3. Just one thing. Do not submit the eoi until you have your skills assessment.
  4. I would strongly recommend you speak Tina registered migration agent.

    Agent Fees

They are one of the best in the business
  6. You will need a Tax File Number, a bit like a national insurance number and you need to apply once in Australia and you can apply online.
  7. I do wonder if what you are looking for doesn't really exist in Perth. We moved from Sydney to Perth and understand what you mean about "vibe". But Perth isn't really known for that. It is all about a much quieter feel. For example, walking through the CBD on a weekend can feel like you have wandered into a post apocalypse as there is no one around. In fact it feels a bit like being in a city in lockdown. Perth is more about people living out of the city in the suburbs and spending weekends at the beach or having a bbq.
  8. I would have a look at Fremantle
  9. Just be aware there are other significant issues with being in limbo for a decade. For example, on a bridging visa if you were resident in the UK you would be eligible for reciprocal healthcare. However, that is not the same as full access to Medicare.
  10. I would strongly get some advice from a registered migration agent. I believe Raul replied to your previous topic so it might be a good idea to speak to him.
  11. No, your partner doesn't have to have lived or live in Australia
  12. Just going to add, there are two routes for a partner visa. One is your employment and the other are saving. The savings route means you have to show about £62,000. However that can include the proceeds of your house sale.
  13. Annual leave counts as time with your employer.
  14. You don't need an exemption as it is a permanent visa. However, do be aware that you will be undertaking two weeks hotel quarantine on arrival and that many people have had flights cancelled at last minute by airlines. Though it seems business and first class holders tend to be ok.
  15. IT would be wise to speak to a registered migration agent.
  16. Have you been working as a carpenter since?
  17. I recommend you speak to a good registered migration agent. There are a number who post regularly on the forum.
  18. I would run your case past a registered migration agent
  19. Probably very unlikely due to the restrictions and therefore very limited visas at the moment. It would be a good idea to speak to a registered migration agent.
  20. Speak to a good pet shipper such as Pet Air
