  1. We may have seen 4 weeks for UK applicants in January, but I am at 4 months now, and lots of others are also 2-3 months. They have clearly slowed right down for some reason. Maybe there is no aircon in their office!
  2. Nadine, was your medical request the notification in Immi or an actual email request? I think eveyone gets the immi notification, so if that then I wouldn't read too much into it. Hopefully UK applications will be well within the global average, there were some very quick grants earlier in the year, in less than 2 months, which I am already past. It would be surprising if it went out from 2 months to more than 7, so I would expect you can make Christmas in Melbourne!
  3. I applied on the 19th March, not heard anything yet. Everything including Medical was done and uploaded by the end of March. Still waiting..
  4. You need Stage 1. You will submit that, pay the fee then you can upload your documents. Once this is done your partner then completes the Sponsorship application. You can do this on one account. They are going to change the process to require the sponsor application be approved first, but i don't think they have done that yet.
  5. Yes you can, however you should ensure you update your Immi account to show that you will be in Australia, as the 309 can only be granted when you are offshore. Usually they would contact you if they are ready to grant to allow you to head out of Australia.
  6. London - Perth - Melbourne is not a lot different to London-Singapore-Melbourne, maybe an hour quicker depending on stopovers. I would definitley do that drive though, although not sure I will do the same from Melbourne back to Perth.
  7. Direct to Perth then on to Melbourne? That is a long non stop but as i understand it Qantas leave them in their crates anyway I don't suppose it makes much difference to the dog!
  8. Ours took over a month to come to the UK, not convinced they always send them the next business day...
  9. I'm at 52 days since submission, medical done and clear, UK police checks done and clear, waiting on AFP certificate to arrive in the post for about 3 weeks!
  10. Congratulations! Did you get any requests for additional information or was it granted straight away?
  11. There really is a form for everything isn't there? As far as I can see all of that information is already in the online application for 309.
  12. If you have "five years to move" under your Visa, does that mean if you move in the last 2 years you then cannot get a RRV to leave Australia?
  13. I was there for mine the other week, nice enough people there, all easy.
