Im here on a WHV and have been here since December and I'm staying with my parents. I'm 27'and was lucky eventually as I managed to find some reletives of my mates in London so I've only just got a social life back. I've found it really hard to get work over here aswell but my parents own a British deli in Maddington so I have been able to keep busy. Tell him he is not in a minority WA kids tend to be very cliquey especially the lads like I said I met a relative of a friend from England and her fella has been here a year and I'm the only person he has really been able to socialise with.
