RMN on a Working Holiday Visa to Melbourne needing reassurance

Hi all

 

I'm leaving for Melbourne on 9th of June and just plain scared and excited to be honest...

 

I was hoping to do casual work for the Nurse Bank... Just want to know whether shifts are there all the time...

 

Also will be looking for somewhere to stay as when I get there I am staying wi a family friend but they're far from the CBD...

 

Anybody else with me on this??

They said i will have to present myself when i arrive there...and bring identity docs and stuff

Hi Tappy20,I think you'll find you'll get lots of shifts although you may have to travel to different hospitals. Have you contacted the hospitals already? You can always try agencies. I was in Sydney in 2003, we're moving later this year and I plan to do agencies until something comes along. I worked for Nursing Australia, they were good. Worth a look. You can contact them from here and get stuff moving. I'm afraid I'm not much use regarding Melbourne though.Best of luck! Enjoy!Scozzx
