rasserie
as far as i know for the purposes of State Sponsorship the occupational ceiling for Software Engineer for SA has been reached. i am not sure if that is any indication of EOI / SS chances overall or State level. it would be good if you could consult a RMA. best wishes. elekter
I believe that in IT field you may need 75 points to be successful ...
mrsgh
Hi I wonder where you get the information on which occupation ceilings have been reached and so soon? I thought they had only just started the new system and were sending out a smaller number of invites initially? We haven't even done an EOI yet as we are waiting for skills assessment to be done but were hoping to apply under the 2631 ICT code for a 189 visa with 70 points, any hope you think?? we could try for SS from VIC for 75 but family and jobs are in NSW so now really unsure! rasserie
https://www.migration.sa.gov.au/node/52 [h=2]Planning levels 2012-13[/h] Planning levels exist for all occupations. Immigration SA advises that the following occupations have reached their planning levels for the 2012-13 program year:2 August 2012 261313 Software Engineer At least that is the case when applying for Sponsorship from South Australia. I am unsure of the quota status for the rest of the states though.
