Camper Babe
Just wondered if anyone has used the labour agreement route to secure sponsorship and then looked for a job once out in Oz.
AJ
What do you mean by this, what visa are you talking about?
Camper Babe
What do you mean by this, what visa are you talking about? I came across Geoffrey Nathan and they can offer a temporary 457 visa. They act as your sponsor and then when you find a job then that company will employ you through Geoffrey Nathan. NickyNook
The thing you should be aware of regarding Geoffrey Nathan is that they need paying.. They charge the employer a hefty salary percentage for the sponsorship arrangement and they also charge you a percentage deducted from your salary. Any employer you found would need to be very keen to get you because it will cost them much more than employing anyone else. There are also minimum salary requirements. AJ
Just a middle man making a big profit from your earnings. Better to look for a sponsor direct with companies.
Camper Babe
Hi NickyNook. Thanks for that. I didn't know that they charged the employer as well.
Camper Babe
Hi AJ. Will keep trying to find a sponsor then and keep fingers crossed that something comes up.
