I moved over to the Newcastle area before Christmas and although I am working I have nothing to do at the weekends. I enjoy fishing, going out, recently started using the gym ( on my own ) but I am bored of my own company lol Is there anyone out there in the same boat ? (Don't be put off by the avatar photo, it's my Mums account, just highjacked it to post a thread ! )

I always tell people to try 'meetups'. You could have a look for clubs in your area too as some of them have social groups - fishing for instance - same with the pubs.

Hi, not sure if you know but on facebook there is a group called expats in the hunter.There are quite a few younger adults on there, and then there are all ages too. it is for everyone.
