sydarv Posted March 9, 2013 Share Posted March 9, 2013 Hi I have been in Sydney for over a year moved from slough berkshire and never thought i would say this do miss aspects of blighty. but i am adjusting. my son who is 19 and at western Sydney university is finding it harder and i wanted to know are there any families with teenagers who have similar interests soccer in particular. Any teenagers who have come over here from the UK he would definetly connect with. i would also like to know any gatherings and events with expats. When my son was at uni he joined everything and played Baseball for inter uni games and had a great time. He is still friends with people he was at uni with. Also how about joining a soccer club. The thing is we do not have to be good at sport to join a club they have all levels for all people but the social life they open is great for young people.
