I'll start you off. AM are 37.5% owned by the Italians, 10% by Ford, and the remainder private investors including Americans. Rapides are built in Austria, engines built in Cologne Germany by Ford (supplied from 2013 by AMG/Mercedes in Germany), run by German Ulrich Bez and co. Paul1Perth
So with you on that, cannot stand that man. So many better presenters out there, why use him? I like the guy, think he's hillarious but I can see why some people might not like him. Very outspoken and not PC, think that's why I like him tbh. I like the format of the show and think it's one of the funniest things on TV whilst still giving out some useful info on cars. They tried it over here with Aussie presenters but you can't just pick 3 people who interract like the guys off the English version. Kids love it too. Went to see the live show when it was over here at the casino. They did a good job. I heard an interesting discussion on the radio last week. Had some car market "expert" on asking why the car market here was doing so badly but seemed fine in most of Europe. He explained that a lot of the bigger manufacturers have been trying to shut plants down for years but everything is so politically driven that it's too hard for most governments to do it. There are too many cars being manufactured worldwide is one of the big problems. Should keep prices down I guess.

Shame the companies are mostly not British-owned any more...

Shame the companies are mostly not British-owned any more... Off shore ownership is not just about where a company is registered. Manufacturing has moved on, wether we like it or not, its a global market now so we either evolve of become extinct. Thanks to Maggie Britain took the path of evolution and now we are seeing the rewards.

Guest Guest66881
Clarksons a tv ****, same old same old lately, three old blokes driving penis extensions around like we all drive on racetracks and scenic mountain routes, having roads closed because the 'presenters' egos insist on such treatment, and the British tv license paying public pay for it:laugh:
