According to statistics from this forum, it looks like it takes about 2 months now for 189s to get their officers. CaptainR Posted September 12, 2013 Share Posted September 12, 2013 From the various other threads, for 189 visas it seems to be taking roughly 8-10 weeks before a case officer is assigned. Hi we lodge our application 12/7/13 and still no signs of a CO this is week 9 now!!!! Just had our medicals today and sending police checks off in Monday's post. I too have heard on other forums that some people, especially those that have completed medicals and police don't actually get notified that they have a case officer until they are told they have been granted a Visa.
