wattsy1982 Posted October 23, 2013 Share Posted October 23, 2013 Hi All, Myself (30) my wife (30) and our 2 boys (4yrs and 17 months) emigrated to the gold coast 3 months ago from the UK and after settling in quickly and well we are now looking for friends. I currently still work for my UK company in sales (from home) so not making any new work friends and my wife hasnt started work yet (midwife) so no friends from that avenue as yet either. Ive just taken up golf and like english football, bbqs and a cold beer. My wife is looking to meet other mums for play dates and coffee etc as this was a big part of her life in the UK. To try and counteract me working from home I am looking to join a local football (soccer) team and meet friends that way. Anyone interested in a meet up let me know.
