simmo
Great pics again. Was watching Tony Robinson "walks through History - Wiltshire" the other day.. i'm not really a hippy or spiritual but the place does seen to have some sort of mystic energy about it. mickyb
No mate. It's the narrow road that leads from The Old Dungeon Ghyll hotel in the Langdale valley round the back, past Blea Tarn to little langdale. That's "The Band" directly in front, that Jake is pointing his camera at leading to the tops along Bowfell. This is Hardknott It's a grim old road. ! We used to go from Ambleside to wast water along it then sleep in the van near wasdale head after going up great end and scafell . Fantastic pics , really miss the lakes . Only managed to get to mid wales this time round .
Johndoe
Next stop, The Mumbles. At this time of year, due to the sun being low in the sky, most of it is in shadow, barring, as can be seen in the first pic, the spot where I tokk the first pic (top of a hill), lighthouse and pier. I took a sequence of photos to show the constantly changing light. And even Port Talbot.............spewing out it's muck, can look OK on a bright day.........................that cloud hung over the place all day
