ArunKumarRamasamy
Hi there I need an help with the VETASSESS application. My qualification is in the field of Biotechnology and my employment is more towards food safety and environmental safety(2 years). I am planning to apply for Environmental Health Officer as my skills. I would like to know if my qualification would be considered as a closely related occupation to EHO? Sadly, I do not have a degree in Environmental Health/Public Health and not a member of any EH organizations in Australia. Will my skills be positively assessed? Kindly help me cross this hurdle..... Guest Ryan the wizard of oz
Hi Arun, The occupation you want to select is in Group A for Vetassess skills assessment. This means that you are required to have at least a bachelors degree in a subject highly relevant to your nominated occupation. http://www.vetassess.com.au/migrate_to_australia/qa2_nominating_occupation.cfm Not many of us will know much about biotechnology and the details of your course but read the following link which explains in detail what and environmental health officer does according to the Australian government. Then you should know weather or not that role has any relevance to your qualification. http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@.nsf/Product+Lookup/1220.0~2013,+Version+1.2~Chapter~UNIT+GROUP+2513+Occupational+and+Environmental+Health+Professionals

nv190499
Hey Guys, I have a Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering. Any idea if this could possibly be a highly relevant bachelor's degree?
