gpo1971
Yes, fairly sure that is what was meant. But, its standard stuff. When I commuted into London it was a 10 min drive to station, one hour train journey, tube all told 20 mins and then 5 min walk. Was a 12-14 hour day. Swerve that. paul1977
Swerve that. Must take nearly 1 and half hours to get from the CBD to butler in rush hour. I leave in rush hour and come off at whitfords and it takes a good 50 minutes.. Your much further north

Guest Guest 47403
Wouldn't fancy that one bit. You would have to have our wits about you and concentrate. I would be knackered by the time I got to work. Not something I would want to do.
newjez
Most people doze or read on the train. I used to write, but I drive now, and I go west rather than up. I think they have wi fi on the trains too. Some people start their work day as soon as they sit down on the train. I'm quite liking driving at the moment, and traffic hasn't been too bad. It's rare that I actually stop moving from home to work. It can be a easier and more comfortable to get into London from Brighton than from the outer London districts. But the costs have gone up a lot in the last few years. I don't know how much a butler to Perth season ticket is?
gpo1971
I don't know about a season pass but last time I went from Clarkson to Perth it was $4-something I think. One-way that is. If you have a season pass and top it up via DD you used to get 10% or 20% discount I think.

gpo1971
Takes nothing like an hour and a half. What you driving Paul, a Robin Reliant? Takes 20 mins tops from Whitfords to ours not 40.
