blossom
George Lombard is the agent generally recommended for medical issues. You will have to pay for his help though.
Que Sera Sera
I would say you need an Agent for this very specialist advice.
Alan Collett
Make contact ASAP with George Lombard (as mentioned above), or Peter Bollard: http://www.lewisbollardmigration.com.au/#/peter-bollard/4578160717 Best regards.
Quinkla
It doesn't look promising - the 190 visa does not have a health waiver provision. If the estimated costs are borderline (I lose track of what the threshold is, but it is arounf $35,000 over 5 years I think) then it may be worth trying to get a medical report showing that your costs are going to be lower than the average person with AS. But if the costs are well over that threshold and there's no reason to challenge their application in your case, then you may well be unable to proceed. If you talk to an agent, try to get an initial conversation to assess the likelihood of success before you commit to high fees for major work.

The likely lifetime costs are also assessed as are the likely use of 'scarce resources'. Obtaining relevant specialist medical reports in the required format is the core requirement in deciding whether to seek a review of the adverse medical decision. MaggieMay24
All I know about Humira is that it's incredibly expensive so would undoubtedly put you well over the level considered eligible for the health check. I agree with the recommendations to contact either George Lombard or Peter Bollard to see if they think it's worth you pursuing this further. char31
Hi @Topshe, just wondering if you eventually got your 190visa granted? Thanks

Thanks As that was nearly 10 years ago, it won't have much relevance to your situation. Best to use a specialist migration agent as recommended above, they'll know the current situation.
