mmtag
I am applying for Skill Assessment for HR advisor to Australia through Vetassess. Bcz this is the designated authority for HR Advisor position. I am stuck and not able to proceed it further without proper guidance. Below are my doubts about documents: Although I have all docts of my companies I have worked with, inclusive of Appointment letter, salary slips (pay slips), Experience letters, I want to know if I have to generate work reference letter from employer? I have 2 times 6-6 months gap in my job, whereas I was not doing anything and looking for job and 1 year gap after Graduation bcz of no reason. Do I have to provide gap certificate for all 3 gaps? I have got 1 passport size photograph made. Do I have to attach 1 or 2? If 2 then both should be in different dresses or what? At the time of submitting application which Visa should I select? employer nomination/ sponsor or which one? Or no need to select anything and just to select "immigration"? I want to get the 2-3 formats verified. Pls add me on Skype
Hunzvi
If you are to apply via the HR advisor route, your only option regarding permanent residence will the 190 visa and not 189. This is because the HR Advisor occupation is not on the list. The following states are sponsoring HR Advisors 1. Western Australia 2. Northern Territory To apply for WA sponsorship, you will need to have a job offer. This was effected in March this year. To be considered for an invitation to apply for WA nomination candidates must: · submit an Expression of Interest on the Department of Immigration and Border Protection Skill Select database (see www.immi.gov.au); · have an Expression of Interest which indicates the applicant is seeking nomination from Western Australia or any state or territory; · meet the Department of Immigration and Border Protection's eligibility requirements for the Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) or Skilled Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 4891); · have an occupation listed as available on the Western Australian Skilled Migration Occupation List2; · meet the minimum work experience requirement of: o at least one year of Australian work experience in the nominated (or closely related3) occupation over the last ten years; or o at least three years of overseas work experience in the nominated (or closely related3) occupation over the last ten years; and meet the minimum English language requirements. · For all other eligible occupations an English language level of ‘competent’5 must be obtained. English language ability must be demonstrated by providing evidence of achieving the minimum English test scores as set out on page 4. · Have a contract of employment6 for full-time employment7 for at least 12 months in Western Australia in the nominated (or closely related3) occupation. For northern Territory, they will require similar evidence but also demonstration that you have strong ties in NT. Yes you will need references from your employer as well. this is not a character reference but confiring your emplyment claims. please look at Booklet 9 for 190 as it has all the information you would need. you cant select employer nomintation visa if you havent been sponsored by an employer. at this point i dont think they require information on your gap years. what matters is that your total work experience was within the last 10 years and meets teh minuimum number of years to be sponsored by the particular state
mmtag
Dissatisfied wth Skills Assessment Result Dear All I need your suggestions on my below case: My skills assessment result for HR Adviser is released in 7 weeks. That is positive!!!. However, Im am not satisfied with the result. They have reduced my experience and considered upto only 3 years rather than 5 years. Also I have done Bachelors of Arts and 2 years post graduation in HR but they have considered upto Bachelors degree and that too have mentioned that this Bachelor is not highly relevant to the profession. Everybody knows that Human Resource is studied in either Post Graduation or masters not in Bachelors level. They have reduced my 5 points in experience and 5 points in qualification which becomes only 45 points in total and even if I achieve IELTS 7 band in each I will get extra 10 points and still 55 points. As I am disappointed with the result. I have written them an email pertaining to my concern. If I apply for appeal or reassessment the fees is very high almost $650. Kindly suggest what should I do. Regards Mamta
