kk123 Posted November 23, 2014 Share Posted November 23, 2014 From what I understand for a 189 visa you nominate an occupation from the Skilled Occupation List and for a 190 visa (state sponsored) you nominate one from the consolidated skilled occupation list is this right? Ozmaniac Posted November 23, 2014 Share Posted November 23, 2014 Correct on the 189 visa - must be a SOL occupation. Only half correct on the 190. Yes, it must be on the CSOL but it must ALSO be on a state/territory list as being an occupation that is eligible for sponsorship by that state/territory and you must have secured a sponsorship nomination by that state before you can receive an invitation to apply for a 190.
