Parley Posted June 26, 2015 Share Posted June 26, 2015 If you are an Australian citizen at the time of your child's birth it will be eligible for Australian citizenship by descent. It is not automatically conferred the way British Citizenship is. It has to be applied for and the child is not an Australian citizen until you go through the process. But it will be straightforward.
