Guest Bridgend Lad
G'Day Butt, or anyone else for that matter. All other parts of the UK have their groups, what about us Welsh! Or are we just too lazy to get ourselves organised? Probarly! Living up in the Northern Beaches, love to meet up with any Welsh, or anyone else for that matter. Married, 2 young daughters, wife's an Aussie, been here 6 months, don't know too many people, give us a shout and let's see what we can get organised. Guest WelshInMelbourne
Hi Bridgend Lad. We are in Melbourne - but my husband is Welsh and I'm an Aussy. We actually lived in Bridgend for a while. My husband is originally from Pembrokeshire and my husband's brother has lived in Bridgend all his married life - he is a policeman there (..its a small world, you might even know him!). We've been back here for the last 2 1/2 years but have never met any Welsh in Melbourne so if you are visiting Melbourne let us know. We only live 10 minutes out of the city. (I actually started a thread under 'Victoria' titled 'welsh in Melbourne'..there are a couple of replies from places other than Melbourne)

Guest jutaylor
Hi cyberworld, I'm Julian, live in Clovelly, NSW, originally from Carmarthen, early 40's and thought I'd say shw mae! A mate of mine (also from Carmarthen) lives just up the road too. If anyone's arranging a welshey get together, be keen to hear about it. I often arrange social stuff (went laserquesting yesterday with 15 others (only one other taffy though)) so let me know and I'll stick you on that list. Did you manage to find any other Welsh in Sydney? I have been here for four months, and haven't managed to find any, or a good place to watch the 6 Nations yet. Any ideas? :animal-sheep:
