raza12345
Hi, I am working as a software engineer, and have three years of post-qualification experience and my employer is willing to sponsor me for 186 direct entry. My question is, is the 60k plus super salary enough as a software engineer to satisfy the Australian Market Salary rate?

Just left Centrelink and they said that my new card already dispatched yesterday so I don’t need to do anything. My interim card is invalid so they let me choose to surrender or keep it. New card will arrive in 2-3 weeks. Thanks

Siusun Ding
Visa : 186 DE Nomination and Visa Applied - 7 Feb 2020 Onshore : Yes (I apply for my offshore spouse as well) No. of applicants : 2 Role : Accountant (General) Request for more information: 15 March 2020 The visa hasn’t been granted and I’m based in Sydney. Are there anyone who applied around the same time with same occupation? Would you think the reason it is not granted is because my spouse is offshore? TooGoodToBeTrue
I just heard from my agent that immigration has requested confirmation from my employer of roel availability for coming 2 years. The nomination was approved over 2 years ago so makes sense they need this. Our agent advised this usually is indicative of a decision when confirmation is received. Has anyone had this request and how long before you received a decision?

Though Lawyer told, this is usually the last requirement before being granted but still waiting. However, You be onshore, case may be different.

elwoodthedog
Hi - has anyone had any luck contacting Immigration for an update on their visa? We're now way outside of the normal "five to six months" processing time -- we applied for a 186 (offshore) in April and haven't heard anything. Is there anything we can do? Immigration lawyer is completely useless, unfortunately.
