Anyone have any idea how long it will take to get visa after nomination approved?/

Thanks

current scenario and generally speaking, around 4-5 months from the date of application.

if your nomination and visa was lodged together then soon.

hi guys , Im Prement and congratulations to all who have got their VISA approved ! the forum is very informative with some excellent advice from knowledgeable individuals , i enjoy reading it . We too have applied for 187 on the 20 July and waiting anxiously for the outcome , At the point of application the MA did mention about a case officer but up till now we haven't heard any news at all . Wonder what is happening .

Every call made to the MA is met by the receptionist with a standard reply saying ' you should be getting an outcome by end of December or early Jan .

The predicament we are in is , though we have been given a bridging visa but its not in effect as our student visa is still active till 2018 . ( my wife completed her diploma in Early childhood education and accepted a sponsorship in Darwin ) therefore wife is still continuing her Bachelors in order to keep her student visa active .

All this said , should i be worried ? Come February i will have to fork out almost 9k AUD for the sem fees

I think different visa request different medical check. You cant save money on this matter, mate.

hi everybody. i have lodged the nomination of my employer the 14th of november with the application for the visa 187. My MA told me that for this kind of VISA there is not a limit of employer's income but because of the fact that a nomination has been already denied for that reason in Brisbane( my previous employer had a turnover of 89000$ , not enough to support my employment, - CO response to my MA ). furthermore, has the visa 187 as mandatory that your employer has to spend 1/2 per cent of his income for employed's courses??? i work in a little clinic of physiotherapy. there is an australian physio, me ( i am working as remedial massage therapist ) and another massage therapist that is doing my same Visa. last but not least, the fact that the same clinic want to sponsor in the same time two people can cause any trouble. kindest regards:rolleyes:
