MR KHAN
Hi all, I’m a silent reader in this group. I have question if someone can clarify to me please? I have got my skill assessment and scored the required test results in English. I’m about to submit my EOI for marketing specialist. I’m just wondering is there any chance if I will get invited on 65 points or should I go when my points are higher ? Thanks
VERYSTORMY
Is WA sponsoring that occupation?

stevej
with this being a new scheme offered you should have a good chance of being picked up for it as numbers are likly to still be low at present for applications

chintu
I am in the same boat, did anyone end up getting any invites? I can see the total number of invites for 190 is 1 so far this financial year? At this pace I find it hard to see all of us getting invites. Do people applying here already have their job offer ready?
MR KHAN
Hi Did you apply for WA190? How many points you have ?
chintu
I have not applied yet but looking to lodge an EOI, have you lodged an EOI yet?
chintu
No I haven't lodged my EOI yet because I am looking for a job. Have you found a job yet? Can anyone knowledgeable help me with the following questions? 1. Do you know if anyone has been invited in this stream yet? 2. What does the "28 processing days" mean on the state migration page? Does that mean it will take at least 28 days to send out an invite from the lodgement of EOI or does it mean that state migration takes 28 days to process nomination post invitation ? Sameena
Hello Can someone help me here. I have completed masters degree from WA and currently working full time and permanent. It's been less then 2 months. Well my question is do i need skill assessment if so then why. As we all know work experience has been waived for master degree. Please clarify my query
MR KHAN
Hi sameena, you will need skill assessment from vetasses. If you have 1 year experience you can apply for skill assessment. I was invited on 70 points with my master degree and skill assessment.
Sameena
Hi Khan, Thanks for your help. I don't have much time left my 485 visa is going to expire in Dec 2019. What can I do in this situation.
MR KHAN
You do need a 12 months contract in Marketing to apply for WA
Sameena
Hi Khan, I am not into marketing. I have done masters in public health. Do I still required experience
MR KHAN
Ok ok I thought you are in Marketing and yes for every occupation under 190 you need a contract letter. I’m not sure what is the exact occupation for your course
Sameena
Health promotion I can provide them my offer letter no issues with it. But why the assessing body need one year experience in order to get positive result. So where is the experience waived off applicable. I am really confused. On immigration website they are saying experience waived off for those who studied masters from WA.
MR KHAN
it’s assessment requirements to have 1 year experience. And you need assessment to lodge your invitation so technically yes you do need experience to lodge your EOI.
