StephenW
Hi, Early 2019 we'll be arriving in Melbourne with a 6 month old baby. Has anyone any advice for how to get her registered with docs to ensure consistency of care - is it as simple as walking in and asking to be registered? The baby is has no conditions requiring specific care and will be up to date with UK immunisations etc. Also, any advice for handling the flight? Thanks! Marisawright
You don't "register" with a doctor in Australia. You simply visit the doctor of your choice. If you don't like him, you go to a different one next time.
ali
Hi Stephen, As Marisa says, it really is a matter of turning up at the Dr's (you don't need to do this with any urgency), if you don't like the practise you can change.
