Kayleigh1610
Hi all! My husband and I would like to migrate to Oz later this year, however we are in the process of gathering together paperwork for a 189 visa and it seems we may have a problem. Does anybody know if it is possible to migrate with a PGCE qualification through Teach First? In order to pass the assessment stage, we have to provide evidence of 45 days of supervised teaching, but Teach First is slightly different to other PGCEs. I'd be extremely grateful if anyone could clarify this for me. Thanks.
Jimmy P
A few years since I jumped through the AITSL hoops, but I recall them needing the specific evidence of teacher practice. If in doubt give them a ring. They might just say follow the directions and apply, bit it can't do any harm! How is your PGCE different? If it’s one of those learn in the job programs it doesn’t meet the criteria.
