nzlady
Me and my husband go the PR in 2015 but we are currently live in New Zealand, planning to move to Australia. Our 3 year old son was born in New Zealand. We are thinking of apply child visa 101 for him but he got diagnosed with autism. Does it mean the visa application will definitely be declined? Any chance for the success of application?
gaia
Are you NZ citizens? Is your child a NZ citizen? My advice is to contact a specialist migration agent. I would recommend George Lombard. Emigration to Australia with a disabled child can be achieved but it’s very tricky and you really need specialist advice.
nzlady
Yes our child is NZ citizen. Is George Lombard in NZ or AUS? If you don't mind to tell me his contact. Thanks.
Marisawright
You say you got PR in 2015. I assume you are planning to move to Australia soon, so you don't lose your right to live in Australia? Is that why you want to get the visa? As a NZ citizen, your child already has a right to enter Australia to live, so he doesn't need a 101 visa.

gaia
As above if you google George Lombard his details will pop up. It’s also true that as a New Zealand citizen your child can enter Australia on a special category visa which is issued on arrival. However unless you can gain permanent residency for him you will receive no disability support services or the associated benefits at all. You really need some specialist advice. I know some of my adult clients who are from NZ can't access benefits etc., you may find that you don't have access to the support you need
