KSH81
I applied for a 489 regional visa in NSW around 3 weeks ago. I have been invited today to make a full application. I need to get all my documents certified as copies, does anyone know how much this will cost? We have a lot to do as there are 7 of us and they require all pages of our passports. So I would like to pay one payment rather than per signature.
rammygirl
If you upload colour scans then they do not need to be certified. That is for the actual visa application anyway. Some assessment bodies do still require certified copies though. It isn’t clear on the on line instructions but it been acceptable to upload uncertified colour scans for some years now. KSH81
I’ve applied to Southern Inland and they want it all done by post, so need certified copies.

Check with Southern Inland if they have rules about who can certify. They may insist on a solicitor or (in Scotland) a Notary Public - in which case, you'll need to shop around and see what people charge, as there's no set fee. Otherwise, here's the official information on how to get a copy certified in the UK: https://www.gov.uk/certifying-a-document Edited March 6, 2019 by Marisawright
rammygirl
Agree. You should have some that were certified for the assessment? Check who can do it and then ring round. We found a high street solicitor who did a load for a set price and a bottle of red! We did all the copying ready.
