rammygirl
In a word No. How old are your children? If you are unsure then maybe an agent can help you make a strong case for them being included, and help you with the evidence you will need. No, because the fee is to pay the administrative costs of processing the visas, which are the same whether they accept or reject it. The new rules require children over 18 to be dependent on you. If they're not, they won't get a visa. An agent would be able to tell you and it will be cheaper to get an agent's opinion than apply for visas you can't get. Lucie1
Thank you, I guess so I was hoping not to use an agent and save some money:-) but think it might be my only option

However, you have to decide how important it is for the kids to come with you. If it's vital, otherwise you're not going to go, then you'd be mad not to invest in an agent. If you're happy to go whether the kids can come or not, then it's fine to go it alone.
