JoshB
Good morning, I'm looking for some information from anyone who may have had a similar career path to myself, to find out if it is a realistic option for me and my family to make the move to Australia. I'm a 27 y/o male, completed a 3 year apprenticeship with Vauxhall here in UK as a Vehicle Technician (Mechanic) and therefor gained the qualifications Diploma Level 3 (VRQ, VCQ), after completing my apprenticeship I went on to become a Offshore Wind Turbine Technician, carrying out a similar mechanical role just on much bigger components. I don't think "Wind Turbine Technician" is recognised on the skilled list, and I haven't done the Vehicle Mechanics for 5+ years now so does anyone know where I would stand in putting an application forward? Thanks in advance!
VERYSTORMY
I think his definitely one to run past a migration agent. It can be possible to still pass a skills assessment where the role has been "similar", but it isn't straight forward.
