The thing is I have not lived in the UK since 2003. so would I have anything in my pensions? If you paid NI contributions in the UK then you may well be eligible for a part pension from the UK govt. AliQ Posted August 16, 2019 Share Posted August 16, 2019 To check your UK pension, go to www.gov.uk/check-state-pension You need to register, log in, and it will state your entitlements to date. It will also tell you if you can improve your future pension by making any extra payments (voluntary National Insurance contributions) between now and retiring.
