Rahmeen
I am waiting from May from NSW as well
Martina
Today marks 166 days of waiting with no contact for me Im starting to think that it really depends on occupation as there are waves of analysts/engineers or trades getting grants and contacts at the same time... This can't be just a coincidence! Hope we can stay sane through out the process
CO348
@Martina I thought that initially. But have seen a lot of RNs get grants with lodgement dates past July. My friend got hers and she lodged in September , VIC nomination. Immitracker shows some from August as well. I guess all we can do is wait. Feels good to vent about it though

In general, onshore is slower. I know that with the 189 visa, points are the decider (higher points get picked first even if they applied later). No idea whether that’s also true of the 190? Don't think that the points matter on the 190 as I only had 65points....how many do you have Martina?

CO348
I wish that was the case, but no logic seems to work so far. My friend is onshore, so the logic of onshore/offshore didn't work there. My points are also higher. 70+5. Yet I'm still waiting. Lol

No, it shouldn't. Only God know on what basis they are picking. I'm onshore, just as my friend. But she got hers in 2 months, while I'm still here since almost 5 months
Lavers
One thing I was wondering is, now that I've had CO contact does that mean that they've passed off everything else except my medicals and PC which they've asked for?

I’m trying to understand the trend on immitracker 🥴 My point was only 60+5. I never followed immitracker as it's not authetic.

Modasser Hossain
@Martina hopefully everyone will get very soon their good news. It's my curious mind who wants to know DOES VISA GRANT DEPENDS ON APPLICANT'S PASSPORT??

sazid.au
Some lucky people are getting granted even less than a month. I am really confused what are the factors IMMI consider to pull up file.
PJA87
Hello, Does anyone know the average waiting period for an EOI to invite in South Australia for 190 visa based on the ‘high points’ route? Thanks in advance.

Lavers
They have dropped the 189 to 12 - 20 months as well, hopefully it doesn't effect us too much. If it goes out further next month then its not looking good.

The thing is it's a "piece of string" anyway the stats are 75% will be dealt with by 9 months 95% will be dealt with by 10 months This still leaves 5% that take longer, and not all of the 75% will take 9 months, some will be shorter than this - it's still just a lottery when your naem gets pulled and how quickly they work on it
Twinkl3
Hi Martina, You might as well front load your medical and PCC if you have not already done so. When are you looking at moving?
