natandkev24
Hi, we are making the move at the end of November and my daughter has 15 months left on her passport- does anybody know if you need a certain amount of years left on your passport before emigrating? Any help would be appreciated
VERYSTORMY
That would be fine. Oz has no requirement. But the airlines usually demand 6 months.
Ausvisitor
Worth noting though that it is much easier to apply for a new passport in the UK than once you are overseas, so if you are planning on moving over and staying it might be "easier" in the long run to just bite the renewal bullet now
rammygirl
Renewal of UK passport from Australia is really easy now, cheaper easier and quicker than an Aussie one! Did both last year. You do have to remember to update the new passport on your immi account to have your visa transferred though.
