belter
Hello all, I've been searching the net looking for a website to tell me how to find out flood zones in QLD. I did find this https://floodcheck.information.qld.gov.au/ but everywhere I look at seems to have bright blue on it. I don't know what that means. Anyone know how to find out what the flood zones are before finding out for real. Thanks B x
Guest The Pom Queen
It may be easier checking each individual council area. Most councils have a flood plan including maps and usually an address checker where you can see if your property is affected. For example I did a quick google search, look at Logan and type in any address https://loganhub.com.au/flood-level-report

Guest The Pom Queen
Ipswich ask for an individual property https://www.ipswichplanning.com.au/flood-map-information but it’s easy to just find any street name and address
calNgary
We have ended up living on a little Island a couple of times over the last 12 years due to surrounding roads that lead in and out of the estate flooding. Not many houses are affected unless they back onto the river/ creek. The flood cameras are a lifeline for around here - https://www.logan.qld.gov.au/flood.
