fififi12
Hi! I am currently applying for Australian citizenship through descent. I lived in Japan for a few years, so need to provide a Japanese police clearance, which I've got. However, it's in a sealed envelope, which says 'To be opened by the addressee only', and the addressee is 'The Authorities Concerned Australia'. And I'm applying online, scanning in and attaching my documents. Has anyone else had a police clearance from Japan, or elsewhere, that was in a sealed envelope? Did you just open it and scan it in? Thanks
Jon the Hat
I think that just means it is confidential and not for random persons to open. I would open and scan it. Technically it must have been addressed to you to get to your home no?
