Aussiebird
Are holden cars any good, as in buying parts, price etc....we have heard Holden has gone bust, is this correct? Thanks! Xx
Marisawright
They haven't gone bust, they're just not going to manufacture cars in Australia any more. Holden is the local brand for General Motors. The fact they're not making cars here means nothing, because no one else makes cars here either - the only reason Holden and Ford made cars in Australia for so long, was because the government paid them huge subsidies to stay. You'll recognise some Holden cars - e.g. the Astra is (you guessed it) the Vauxhall Astra. Edited September 19, 2020 by Marisawright

HappyHeart
Hyundia is a good reliable brand in the lower priced end of the market. Kia too which I think use same engines?

Just the one though. Pity they didn't make a diesel.
