Nurrishd
Any one have previously brought in a family member for the purpose of looking after and supporting my wife/baby after the birth? I'm thinking the visitor visa 600 for family visit and detailing the reasons in the process. Would immigration look at the reason for the visit doesn't fall under a "visitor" application or is it perfectly understandable to require help as we are here alone with no family so any help would be great to have. Quoll
You won't be paying her for it will you? So essentially she will be a visitor. If you imply that you are going to employ her as help, then she is more likely to be refused I would have thought. Most of us get along without needing family over to help. Marisawright
Why not just apply for her to come on a holiday? As Quoll says, if you say she is coming to be a nanny/carer for your children, that is a job, and she cannot work in a job on a 600 visa.
