Squirlies
We are due to move next Summer. I'm currently a childminder here in the UK, I'm very unsure what I should do once I get to australia. I have thought about going into a nursery or maybe even look into setting up myself in australia. What do other childminders do.
Marisawright
Some aspects of childcare are covered by the federal government and some by the state government. Each state has its own certificate or card you have to get, to certify that you're approved for Working With Children, for example.

The amount of children you can have at one time ,i believe can vary depending on if you have young children too. This link is for QLD but explains the varying types of daycare available, so it may help you a bit. - https://www.qld.gov.au/families/babies/childcare This links to the same site but explains what qulaifications, certs etc you need (again this is for QLD) - https://www.qld.gov.au/education/earlychildhood/working Cal x
