plodling2002
Good morning/evening everyone. Forgive me if I have asked this before: I claimed my (small) pension pot from Standard Life, they told me that because I no longer live in the UK, (now in Australia), I cannot take just the 25% tax free amount, and that I would have to take the lot!! (it was only about 30,000 pounds), so I did, I then realised that I paid emergency tax, I had the money paid into an English bank account, how can I claim back the extra tax I paid, is there an online form, difficult doing anything from the other side of the world....many thanks everyone. (I have lived in Australia for over 10 years now, I am 60 years old and have no other UK income, other than when I reach UK Pension age I will be claiming my UK State Pension)
Ken
That should be an R43 form. More information here: Claim personal allowances and tax refunds if you live abroad (R43) - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Alan Collett
You're across the tax position in Australia? Best regards.
