Lloyd&Jennie
Hi All, Just a quick one regarding sponsorships.  Dose anyone have any tips on finding a potential sponsorship in Perth while I'm still in sunny England?  Any pointers would be much appreciated

JZT
My husband secured his sponsorship while we were living in England, through a recruitment agent who specialised in that industry. He knew of the company and reached out to them and it all fell in to place very quickly. His employer have actually just sponsored another person who has just arrived. He found the role advertised on Seek, applied for the role and they were happy to sponsor him for it.

A more important question is whether sponsorship is the right choice for you. If it's just the two of you, no kids, then sponsorship is worth the risk. If you've got kids, it's important to think through all the implications of a temporary move.
Lloyd&Jennie
I obtained my Australian diploma through my current agent in construction project management. By trade I'm a carpenter but don't have the relevant certificates to support that. From carpentry to dry-lining (plasterboard installer) I'm willing to do anything to make a better life for the misses and two kids. To answer Marisa, your 100% right. I'm trying to get in through a PR visa but I'm falling short of points by 5. Obviously I'm trying to get a higher score in the English test to elevate my points but that's become a little harder than first thought. I wasn't exactly a grade A student in school for my English haha  oh and thank you all for the replies, really appreciate it.
