Hi

Haven't been on this site for about 8 months - been busy trying to settle! Originally from Abridge near Epping and we have just completed our first year here on the Northern Beaches - we are in Freshwater - just north of Manly. Got a boy of six and a girl of nearly four. Have settled well however have found it harder than I thought to make friends. I was starting to think it was me - however having read this am feeling reassured it just the situation. Thank f for that!

Always up for an evening out or play date.

Hi, we are visiting Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane and the East Coast in August to see what we think of it for a possible future move.

We are a couple from Colchester in Essex with a 5 month old daughter.

It would be really nice if we could arrange to meet up with people who have already made the move to get the chance to talk to those who have already experienced it all.

If there is anyone who would be willing to have a coffee with us from 1st Aug til 21st, please let me know.

Thanks

x

Hi Ozzie

Thanks for getting back to me.

Yes most brits do live up this way, i think it must be the greenery or the amazing beaches.

We live in Turramurra at the moment which is nice but dead, they do not even have a pub, i am in the process of movin to Hornsby in the next 2 weeks, its only half an hour in to the city and has everything you need.

If you are moving this way i would recommend Hornsby unless you want to live on the beach at Mona Vale, Newport, Avalon or Palm Beach, these are a little more expensive, however getting in to the city would be a nightmare as there is only a singel road in and out.

Let me know about Saturday, if you are busy no stress we could do another weekend

Thanks again for getting back to me

I look forward to hearing from you

All the best

Dave

Do you fancy meeting for Breakfast on Saturday? Bobin Head park is close by, they have good barbecues and lots of space for the kids to run around.

Hi arrived from the UK back end of August, currently renting a place in Cherrybrook. Originally from Noak bridge area between Basildon and Billericay, now getting the 620X bus to the CBD every day. Over here with my wife, 6 year and 2 year old.
