Guest andrea turner Posted March 2, 2009 Share Posted March 2, 2009 Hi all, We are a family of five heading to goldcoast area, and sydney (possibly around the northern beaches) in april for three weeks to explore the opportunities each city has to offer, as we can't decide where to settle. We were granted our visas in January 09 :smile: , and are hoping to move down under around August/ September later this year from Scotland. We are looking for any feedback on areas to live and it would be great if anyone would like to share their own experiences with regards to house rental, house purchase, car rental, schoolling, golfing and socialising. We will be in Sydney from 5th- 13th April and Brisbane from 13th-21st April, if anyone fancys a coffee we would be more than happy to meet up. Andrea, William, Elisha 16, Kyle 14 and Aimee 12 P.S Does anyone have any ideas on affordable car rentals and holiday rentals in either of the areas for April ? Guest donovan Posted March 3, 2009 Share Posted March 3, 2009 Hiya we live Pacific Pines Gold Coast, and have been here since Aug 07, it's a great place to live, plenty to do, as we are not too far from all the theme parks, we are around 20mins from the beach and same to the mountains. Great Place to live if you have kids, as Pacific Pines has lovely Parks & bbq area's , soccer field, and skate park.
