Musical Meeting Central Coast/Sydney?!

Hi everyone

 

This is probably a bit of weird-sounding thread - but I am a very keen amateur musician & have so far managed to find a couple of orchestras with which I may be able to play.

 

However, I'd also really like to play as part of a smaller ensemble - I used to play with a quartet which I absolutely loved, and which was very good for my playing. I play the violin, to about Grade 6/7 standard, and I was wondering if there are any other PIO members in the Central Coast/N Sydney area who might consider meeting up to play from time to time? (I'll have a go at playing almost anything.)

 

Also, I play recorder (much better than violin), & I'd really like to play that more too.

 

Bit of a long shot, I guess, & I know that I can sort this out once we've arrived - but I love playing so much that I'm impatient to know I won't be forced to resort to playing alone (which I don't enjoy half as much). :sad:
