leanda Posted April 27, 2009 Share Posted April 27, 2009 We've been in Melbourne's west for 2 years and I have only just found this site - where have I been??? We love living here but meeting people is difficult especially when you're in your 30's and don't have kids. It gets really lonely sometimes but I still love being here, i just wish I coudl bring all my UK friends over to live? However, I took up volunteering (dog rescue, mentoring Y10 students, being on the board of a not for profit professional association, SES etc) and it made all the difference to my finding like minded people that I can socialize with - have you considered volunteering?
