I am looking for anyone in the area who would want to meet up as i am seriously missing female company! I am looking for work at the moment and am going crazy sitting at home all day and night with only my boyfriend to talk to! We live in Arundel and have been in Oz for 6 months. We only recently started getting a social life together and have made some really nice mates. If you dont think 38 is too old for a laugh send me a PM for a chat. I typed in the search engine that i was looking to make friends in the area because me and my boyfriend moved here and don't know anyone close by. Yeah i work during the week not far from home. Its a nice area to live in, seems very safe and has lots of parks and trails. For me its a bit quiet, as i am only 26 and do not have any kids. However, i think it is perfect for families. There are about 4/5 places to eat, a good pub and a couple of shops by the lake, and then there is the Orion shopping centre about 5 min drive away which has more choice of shops and supermarket. The houses themselves are very nice, although most of the plot sizes are pretty small. School wise i dont really know, but there are a few close by. It has taken me a while to find work, the only options in springfield itself really are to work in shops etc. I am now looking at working in Brisbane city where there are alot more options, but it means i have to get the bus to Goodna station and then the train into city which takes about 1 1/4 hours in total. Was just wondering ladies what all your other halfs did for a good night, as im a single guy, looking for new friends! Dont know anyone :sad:, apart from my new work colleges.
