Petals Posted November 2, 2009 Share Posted November 2, 2009 Hey guys, know how your feeling. Been here 2 yrs now and have no friends outside of work. It makes me feel down when i think about it, have never found it difficult to find friends, maybe am not trying hard enough?. Having no friends here makes me want to go back home and be with the friends that i have back there that i have been friends with for over 13 yrs. Why is it so difficult?. I would like to meet people off of here but am not all that good at meeting people i don't know, confidence thing i think. Currently live in the parramatta region. Do you belong the local leagues club or rsl club Sydney is club orientated and that is the way to meet people by going there all the time and becoming a familiar face. I lived in Sydney and I found it not as friendly as Melbourne I must admit. Seemed to be more diverse and the natives do their own thing and its hard to crack the shell there.
