Guest Danjohn
Hi All, Moved over to Perth from UK a year ago with my wife who's from these parts originally. We have a 7 month old boy so its been a busy time since we got here. Anyway, looking to broaden the options socially beyond Aussie/S African work colleagues and the wife's old school mates! So any other new Dads, or anyone who simply want to catch up for a beer or two some time, drop me a line. Cheers, Dan (Northern suburbs)

Guest Danjohn
mate, I know what you mean about the chores! We're in North Beach at the moment. The Carine pub is the place we frequent when we get a chance - which is not often with the little one. Open to other recommendations though. Jase Nic Emma & Owen  Hi there, we are moving to Perth in September. We are looking at Woodvale and now Kingsley. We"d like to get our daughter who"s 13 today into Woodvale High. My son"s 9 so hey they may have new friends already!!! How have you found getting a rental? There does not seem to be that many on offer. We were looking at just Woodvale to beging with but there does seem to be a few more in Kingsley. Is it a nice area? Guess it must be if you are moving there...lol. Enjoy your beers on Sunday.....Cheers Tracey.

woodpud
Hi Tracey, We love the area's of Woodvale, Kingsley,Greenwood and all other area's arround. We are off on 21st to see Woodlvale high school with Emma and hope to get her in. We have to see with Owen its either Creaney or Duncrain, the fisrt is better i think and just up the road from house. We found the rental system a bit strange as you put one weeks rent down when you apply so if you do one at a time you could lose one while being refused another or you could be accepted on both and have to loose one deposit. They dont like you to view individually there has to be a bit of an open house!!! But luckly the first one and only one we went for we got. We fell in love with it straight away and ones with a pool are scarce, some we looked at were rough and not cheap. This one includes gardening, pool maitenance and chemicals so all in its very good. When we got here we drove round for 2 weeks working out which areas we liked and could eventually afford to buy so we dont have to move kids to often. When you get here you will have to get in touch and we can meet up. Are you on Face book? My email is nicola.woodley@btopenworld.com.
