Wendy,

Tara and Paul's recce report was fantastic,

we also had a small recce in August and loved the feel about SH, went to both the schools and they seem good as well, how old are your kids, we should try to meet up when you arrive and if we can help you with anything we will.

its a massive move, and we are all over the place just now, but hopfully we will all be sitting somewhere in the sun at a barbie laughing about it, and luvin the life change.

best wishes

Mark / Alliosn and Holly

Hi Guys

We moved Dundee to Secret Harbour 2 1/2 months ago, the primary schools are good, the high school is ok, nice and new but the disciline is not great (security car has to follow the school bus/ police outside school at end of term returning kids that are truanting) They are trying to improve it but it takes time (alot of the riff raff from surrounding areas were put into the school when it opened to give it enough numbers at the start) There is a fair bit of grafitti but unfortunately that seems quite normal for WA

The area itself is great (alot of UK people are based here) it has the reputation of being one of the good south suburbs but bit more expensive for housing and rentals

Swim club great

Surf beach great

Lots of sports, there is little atheltics, T-ball, soccer, gymnastics, surf life saving club

etc

We are waiting on our furniture (2 weeks to go!) then we move into our unfurnished rental here

Hope your travels go well - we'll maybe see you once you get here

Lorna

Im sorry but riff raff from surrounding areas were not put in to the school to bump the numbers up - the schools have catchment areas which for the most part are pretty well adheard to. If they are attending that school it is because the are in the catchment area or because they have applied for a special placement (which would normally entail an interview with the school). Believe it or not people from Secret Harbour do get in to trouble as well as those living in other areas.
