Was great to finally see everyone this afternoon - sorry if we didn't get to say hi to everyone, but the turn-out was astonishingly good! A big thanks to Mr & Mrs MJ76 who had travelled all the way from sunny Birmingham - big effort!

 

But what happened to all the people who are going to Brisbane! We'd be sorted if we were going to Melbourne or Perth - but we didn't meet anyone who is going to the other side of Oz (apart from John T, but he doesn't count.....:twitcy:).

 

Regardless it was a good afternoon with some great people and, bizarrely, decent weather. Thanks to all for making the effort.

 

We're planning on having another meet-up in May or June before we depart in July, so will let you know nearer the time.

I am sorry we did not make it today. We had a call very early this morning to say that my son was actually required to play in a match not just attend for volleyball training so we had to go to that. I hope you all had a lovely time and I will make sure that I pay more attention to what is going on and make definite plans to attend the next meet up.
