I am 30 and I have just moved to Brisbane from the UK, coming over for an Aussie man! Looking to meet new friends in the area who are maybe in similiar situations to me. Brisbane seems great so far although have only really been here since December so finding my feet still. I work in hospitality, mainly event managements and sales. I used to live in Ipswich (My brother lives there) myself when I first arrived in Brisbane in May last year. I now live in Auchenflower. It's great to be living so much closer to the city. Unfortunately my one year visa is up in March. Had an interview last week though for an IT job, and if I get it. I'm getting sponsored for a 4 year visa! So fingers crossed!
