Guest mikeskinner1272
Has anyone got any Idea if Parramatta are processing past August at the mo ????? Spoke to my MA last week and at this current moment in time my original 175 lodged back on 7th October 2009 with be processed in the next 3/4 months, before my ENS....thinking of going back down that route...It's a better visa with no restrictions to where I can work and not tied into an employer for 3 years..The ENS is now so slow my sponsor application went in October 2010 and if they get the all clear it can take another 5/7 months to process mine. I have spoken to my sponsor saying if my 175 gets the go ahead before the ENS can I come out on that and work for them, they said yep.... Come on 175....good bye ENS......started this process March 2009...would like to think there is light at the end of the tunnel this year. Cheers

Guest smilearchitect
I am of indian origin , my journey to australia began in septemebr 2008 , i was dentist qualified in india , my qualification was not recognised here in australia unlike others , ihad to go through the experience of my skills being recognised which happened in july 2010 , i had applied for gsm 175 in july 2010 and their was no movement in my application what so ever. meanwhile the state sponsorships were stalled and i did not know what to do , i did enter australia to seek job , as i was already reeling under 100k$ debt because of the dental board exams and the coaching which went with it. i did not know their was condition called 8503 which prevents the non eta country passport holders to change their visa status in australian shores and the only way to go about it was getting a pr and ask for waiver of it. i found 3 employers who were willing to sponsor me and two of them just backed away at the nth moment the day before filing the visa ,now at this stage was so distressed and did not know what to do , so i paid up for a initial consultation for a immigration lawyer and hired them for it .. the truth at the end of the day is decision ready checklist aids in helping the australian immigration clear the unforseen backlog because its not only you their are lakhs of others who are waiting in the queue , so i fail to understand in this forum is why any body is not taking advantage of this system??? look folks , this is real world you have to sink or survive instead if drc is a option why not grab it with both hands??? Guest guest17520
OK so I have received some information back about my application: My case officer was waiting for some costings from a Medical Officer of the Commonwealth (MOC) so she could then send me a letter telling why I have failed the medical and how much they have estimated my medical costs to be. I got an email this afternoon saying that the MOC has deferred his opinion and has requested further information from me before he can make his decision. He has asked me to get another report from a specialist and a blood test etc. They have also asked that my wife and daughter get their medicals done again and me and my wife get our police checks done again. I'm not sure what this means, maybe they are going to grant my visa after they get another report from a specialist? Maybe they will still fail me after I get the report from the specialist? I wish this would just be over.

So there is a chance that you may not fail it. Do the exam and see what the MOC says. All the best

If they failed me I would need to apply for a health waiver and get further medical tests done again anyway so I'll just have to go through the motions. I have to stay positive. I wish this would just be over. look as a doc in australia , i would say that the previous histroy was inconclusive so it all depends now what you have got from the specialist an d blood reports because things change very fast (this is my conclusion based onthem so quickly asking for a report) ask your specialist doc what your chances are 25k$ they will say ok if the cost is more than 25k$-50k$ hesitant ok 50k$-100,00k$ -prray they say ok more than 100k$ not a ok.... so ask your specialist what is the medical cost approximately and you have t he idea:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin: hope it helps

Not sure whether the info is helping is there ANNNY chance this refers to the date nomination was applied for rather than the date the application was put in?....saw zmdia (or something like that) over on Britshexpats say that his nomination was lodged in august, his application not put in until December...lodged Parramatta, but granted by brisbane.....it's very close to my timeline, nomination put in in October, application in January. I honestly have no clue My nomination was approved before I lodged my application It was just the official info from DIAC but you can see there are many people lodged after that date have got their decisions. No, Its actually from the date your application lodged. Visas grated by Brisbane would probably be DRC ones and therefore be a lot quicker.
