When did u applied ur visa.... Mine was late June 2011..... And urs..... I applied April 7th and still no news... Hopefully I'll hear from a CO soon! I will keep you informed... Lodged a subclass 121/856 Visa (Advertising Specialist) through a MA on the 24.02.11 (dont think it was a DRC) only just heard of a DRC on this forum:mad: Had an email from my MA on the 12.03.11 Acknowledgement and Receipt I have already had my vetasses approved and all paper work was lodged at the same time both my paper work and my employers. Only problem now is my Medical is over a year old but i haven't left australia which may help. My Uk Police report still has 5 months left on it. I lodged it by hand in sydney but not sure what centre of excellence it has been forwarded onto :confused: Not sure how to add it to the Google spread sheet but im sure Ashish can help :biggrin: I will ring up 121 881 tomorrow to see if i can find anymore info out. I Shall let you know how i get on... Really annoyed as my Migration officer has been rubbish at keeping me up to date and not mentioned the DRC at any stage. Also my Australian driving licence runs out on the 20.08.11 does anybody which form you need to show to extend it for a longer time frame now I am on a bridging visa? Good luck to all of you... Guest TheButlers Posted August 9, 2011 Share Posted August 9, 2011 Thanks for that our app was lodged 25/7/11 RSMS PR visa for canberra i am a nurse visa was lodged with police checks we have our medicals next week, no word of a CO yet but from reading this varies. I have a husband doing his nut:arghh: living with the in laws so i am trying to give some perspective on how long this may take!! Guest mikewheble Posted August 10, 2011 Share Posted August 10, 2011 Hi all, Just spoken to my employer who is sponsoring me on a 121 which was submitted and front loaded in June. Basically, we have agreed not to wait for the 121 to be granted and so I am going over on 17th September. I have a 475 regional visa which was granted in April and this visa means that I have to live and work in a regional area of Australia which basically means anywhere outside of a metropolitan area. The plan is that I will have a postal address in regional Victoria and work from home until the 121 is granted...once it is about to be granted, my wife and I will go to NZ for a week. Our application when lodged i thought was DRC, but qhen the acknowledgement letter tells no drc and my agent said that they got 3 strikes so our application is not drc but the agent told us that they put drc still in the cover. we submitted all the require documents. The whole point of DRC was to avoid backlog and increase processing efficiency. If you look at the spreadsheet, some of the DRC application lodged on June have already been finalized. So I think this timeline do not apply to DRC application and is just for reference to those whose application have been placed on a queue, like me Hope that helps. Mandela Hi Mandela, Well I have posted the AFP certificate to my RMA who will then forward it to DIAC. I called DIAC yesterday and found that they were waiting on AFP to finalise the application.
